The master classes are open exclusively to musicians between the ages of 18 and 26; the number of musicians accepted for the master classes 2002 will be distributed as follows:

• 20 violins
• 7 violas
• 5 violoncellos
• 4 doublebasses
• 2 flutes
• 2 oboes
• 2 clarinets
• 2 bassoons
• 4 horns
• 2 trumpets
• 3 trombones
• 1 harp
• 6 percussion players
